Currently, the automation degree of majority shooting training and shootingcompetitions equipment is lower. Reported target mostly done by the traditionalartificial way, including shooting statistics of the rings number and the assessment of thefinal grade. This way of indication of shots is big workload, low efficiency, and alsosafety hazard. Therefore, it would be of great significance for research and design ofautomatic target-scoring systems with high efficiency, saving time and effort, safety.Photoelectric automatic target-scoring system has a higher indication precision ofshots and works steadily. But traditional photoelectric automatic target-scoring systemis based on a laser corresponds to a photoelectric sensor mode, so that the system needsmore lasers and photoelectric sensors. As the number of the sensor`s output signal, theMCU needs a large number of IO for signal acquisition and detection. Excessivenumber of laser will also result in increased power consumption of the entire system. Inthis paper, bullets coordinate positioning can be realized by using of three90°Fan-shaped laser. In this way, the munber of laser is reduced so that consumption ofthe system is reduced and the stability of the system is aslo enhanced.The problem thatMCU`s I/O number is limited can be solved by the parallel-serial conversion ofphotoelectric sensor`s output signal. In this paper, the design of photoelectric automatictarget-scoring system is based on these ideas and realized by FPGA.At the beginging, the paper introduces the status of the various types of automatictarget-scoring system, then studies and compares the pros and cons of the all kinds oftarget-scoring target system. More sensitive photoelectric sensors are used to detcet thepoint of impact. The automatic target-scoring system is mainly composed of hardwareand software components. The hardware section includes the laser transmitter circuit,the photoelectric sensor circuit, FPGA control board and the wireless communicationmodule. The software is composed of lower machine software based on FPGA and thePC software based on LabVIEW. The function of the hardware and the lower machine isdata detection, processing and transmission the point of impact information. Wirelesscommunication module is used to realize the position data of bullet transmission fromlower machine to the host computer. PC software is to achieve the target of bullets inanalog display and to output the shooting performance information and the display of bomb sequence information. Finally, make the the principle prototype target shootingtested, the test results show that the response of the system is fast enough, theperformance of system is stabilized and has a higher indication precision of shots.
