With the development of wireless communication technology and mobile applicationdevelopment technology based on intelligent terminal, using intelligent terminal as coal minesafety monitoring terminal has become the research hot spot. Smart phone is the best choicefor mobile monitoring terminal equipment in coal mine. Recently, Android platform thatGoogle developed greatly promoted the development of smart phones, and the platformprovides a good opening performance, which has brought a turning point for the popularity ofcoal mine monitoring system. The main topic is about researching Android platformtechnology, and building the mobile platform of Coal mine safety production monitoringinformation.In this paper, firstly, analyzed the research background, significance and status of mobilemonitoring system of coal mine.Through comparing and analyzing the advantages anddisadvantages of the current mobile terminal operating system, decide to use the Andro idplatform, Socket communication and SQLite database to build the information platform forthe mobile monitoring of coal mine safety production. Secondly, introduced the related theoryand key technologies. Thirdly, analyzed the requirements of mobile monitoring system, on thebasis, the server and mobile client of system are designed. Completing the design of thefunction module of mobile client, the design of the data flow, the design of the data storageand the design of data communication protocol and data structure between the server andmobile client of system. Lastly, achieved the coding implementation of the mobile clientfunction module, testing the mobile client software in real machine and result shows that thefunction of mobile client is normal, and the operation is stable; it can realize the remote visualmonitoring of coal mine data and meet the demand of customers.
