Office Automation System Based On Rich Client Platform

With the development of computer and network, the competition between enterprises isgradually changing from hard power to soft power. In order to obtain larger economicbenefits, how to improve the transmission rate, increase information access and effectivelyuse information to promote the production and work efficiency, and assist decision-making,has become a critical factor to the company development.The text is designed to deal with the practical work of property units, mainly establishedenterprise OA management system in the C/S architecture based on workflow concept. Itspurpose is to change complex and disordered office management between the units anddepartments or personal staff. The established OA system by analyzing actual demand, notonly save resources in the work, but also greatly simplifies the working process, and provide astrong guarantee for improving the efficiency.Due to the rapid development of electronic application, the property company’sinformation transfer mode and work mode has dropped out. In view of this, this paperanalyzes the critical demand of office automation, points out the shortcomings, and determinethe research topic. On the basis, explain workflow and rich client; analyze the systemstructure of Eclipse and Eclipse RCP, using Java language and Eclipse RCP to develop thesystem; through the discussion of system requirements and system feasibility, the principleand purpose is proposed, designed the overall function of the system and the main controlinterface, designed the data management system, which uses Oracle as the database, appliedHibernate to persistently process data; Finally, through combining system analysis and design,developed including one office platform, system notification, instant communication threemodules of the office automation system, realized the real-time communication, personaloffice, department responsibility, electronic forums and other functions. As tests proved, the system’s basic function works well, and has a good cross-platform and scalability.
