Under the background of globalization, the number of public health emergenciesoutbreak of increase, the harm of deepening. Our country is in the social ideology in socialtransformation period diversification, various contradictions have become increasinglyprominent, the development and transformation of society is very easy to cause the crisisoccurred, various factors contributed to the high incidence of today’s crisis. How the publichealth incidents were reported, is one of the important problems of the press to china.In this paper,"people’s Daily" as the research sample, the newspaper of H7N9avianinfluenza was reported as the research unit, use the framework of analysis and contentanalysis on the full range of its. This paper analyze the reports content, multi angle way, newssources, layout design, summed up the "people’s Daily" reported the characteristics of publichealth emergencies, in order to provide reference and thinking for China s media reports offuture public health emergencies.As a central level party newspaper,"people’s Daily" quick response during an outbreakof H7N9bird flu, reported for the first time in the relevant information, and continuouslythorough on the H7N9bird flu were reported, highlighted the "people’s Daily" the mainstreammedia as China’s sense of social responsibility and newspaper style.The first chapter is the introduction, describes the research on the origin of H7N9bird flureported, and the reported research methods and research significance. The second chaptercarries on the statistical analysis to the sample, analysis of "people’s Daily" on the H7N9avian flu epidemic situation reports picture from two aspects content and reports about theH7N9avian influenza report way.
