In China’s social media spectacle in popular culture, media has played a constructingsocial reality, influence public political and cultural life and identity function. One afteranother media spectacle, is shown to the public the most important issues for thecontemporary society. To strengthen the influence of the media aslo able to attract a largenumber of audience. By making the media spectacle to attract the audience, at the sametime, the audience through the media spectacle to perceived social events. Mediaspectacle is media culture on display, rendering and communication. The audiencefrom spectacle culture as "passive" to "active" change, influence of media spectacle on theaudience’s mind and behavior will change.This paper selects Li Tianyi rape case as a typical example of media spectacle in China.Of new media in the development of the social environment, li case media spectacle reflectsthe entertainment, the spread of consumerism and the contradiction between social groupsbecome acute problems, such as the parsing. Through the method of the diagnosticmulti-angle, multifaceted, points out that li spectacle in culture media anomie, analyze thewonders of the role of cultural identity construction of netizens, the negative effect on thecontradictions between different groups intensified and the impact of building to the society.Based on Li’s cases as the starting point to explore the realistic root of its formation, themedia spectacle is pointed out that the tendency of commercial media and entertainment is themain root cause media spectacle into pitfalls and gives corresponding countermeasures andsuggestions. The article points out the main causes of the media business and entertainmenttendency was triggered by a media culture into errors, in order to avoid the cultural spectaclechaos, suggestions for standardizing media management system, strengthen mediaself-regulation.
