Practice And Consideration On Interactive Communication Of Hubei Network TV

Nowadays, the booming information-technology brings not only the fiece challenges totraditioanl mainstream media which decrease the population of audiences, but alsodelivers generous opportunities which has never been precedented in history. Underthese circumstances, traditional mainstream media attempts to absorb the power ofinternet and new media, and tries to transform themselves to accommodate this new era.It is the main effort for the traditioanl media to recover their powerful influence to thesociety. One of these famous trials is online web station.Due to the emerging developments of the provincial web stations in China, I would liketo combine my previous experiences in Hubei Web Station to give you a uniqueperspective into this new field. Especially, I would mainly focus on their performancesbased on the idea of interactive communication, then discuss their gain and loss.I will illustrate the new field involving five different aspects. Firstly, I’ll stress on thedistinct concepts like website of TV station and internet TV station, internet TV stationand its dual attributes; introduction of the research background and methods; as well asthe review of network interactive communication theory. Secondly, I’ll discuss thesignificance of interactive communication on radio and television network. In the thirdpart, I’ll mainly focus on Hubei radio and television network(HRTN). I’ll dig out itsspecial idea of internet communication behind the screen. In the fourth part, I’ll use areal case to analyse HRTN’s efforts on combing web interactive communication with thetraditional media. Finally, I’ll summarize my ideas above and depict a further thinkingtowards the future of provincial internet TV station.The research tries to approach the practical problems based on my real experiences in aprovential web station–HRTN. It also proposed several suggestions from theperspective of interactive communication for its management and development as anewly reformed powerful main stream media in the future.
