Mobile learning is a new way of learning which is based on digital learning and hasthe mobility, efficiency, extensive interactivity, sharing, personalized learning chara-cteristics. Android is a kind of free and open-source Linux-based operating system, whichis mainly used in mobile devices, such as smart phones, tablet PCs and other mobiledevices. Mobile learning system, which is built on the computer technology, wirelesscommunication technology, multimedia technology and other modern technology, can beused as a powerful supplement to traditional learning mode to provide anytime,anywhere learning support service for the majority of users by running on the intelligentterminal with Android System.This thesis aims to implement a mobile learning system based on the Androidplatform. In this System, the learning service provider can publish the resource andmanage the system by server-side; the learning service receiver can do course learning,communication and other activities by installing the mobile client in mobile devices ofAndroid. In order to achieve the above functions, the thesis has made the following work:1. Theoretical research: study the theory and technology related to mobile learning,pointed out the feasibility of developing mobile learning system based on the Androidplatform;2. Functional design: design the function of mobile learning server-side and client-sideto ensure that both work together to realize "mobile learning" function, and to make usersget a better learning experience;3. Effect implement: mobile learning client-side functionality through the Javaprogramming language, through the system main function module rendering, you can seethat the user can through customer while learning communication activities for it.Through the debugging on Android tablets, it verifies that the system has a basicmobile learning function. Finally, the thesis has been summarized and pointed out that thesystem can be improved and extended, which laid a solid foundation for the future systemimprovement and functional development.
