With the rapid development of network technology, information globalizationtrends are becoming evident, and education as a universal concern area, has become thefocus of the technological innovation. E-Learning is a new learning concept presentedin recent years, emphasizing through the Internet and computer technology andelectronic technology to subvert the traditional way of learning, and giving students anew way to learn. The digital learning has spread to the world, and governments andresearch institutions are increasing investment in the field. Learning mode of networkenvironment including the documents, video, voice, and other multi-style has become acurrent research focus.This thesis design a3G mobile learning system based on the current mainstreamAndroid smart phone platform, using Android technology to design and implement,providing a diverse, comprehensive learning platform for user. Mainly includes:1. Analyze current development status of the E-Learning, and research ondevelopment status of home and abroad. Analyze user needs to complete the design ofthe overall system architecture, designing and R&D programs.2. Build system development environment and design databases. Make detaileddesign and coding of system core functions. Implement main functions including login,registration function, online exam function, audio-visual learning function,communication capabilities and user management functions.3. Design test cases, taking unit test to make system black box test. Makeperformance test and analyze the results. The test results show that:3G mobile learningsystem designed in this thesis has meet user’s requirements including function,performance, and achieves the desired development goals and can be put into use.
