With the development of electronic information technology, advances in spatialspectrum estimation method, the use of array signal processing systems are more andmore widely. Through the array signal acquisition and processing,we can get richinformation of airspace. General, wideband array signal contains fine information. Thearray signals obtain mainly includes analog signal preprocessing and synchronousacquisition of each channel signal. Wherein,synchronization acquisition’s quantizationbits and synchronization accuracy are closely related to the array signal quality.On the basis of the modular instrument, this paper designed and implemented a setof array signal synchronization acquisition system with labVIEW. As computer is the corehardware platform for the virtual instrument, we have an easy way to design andimplement array signal synchronization acquisition system with using virtual instrument.The array signal synchronization acquisition system is mainly composed by the signalconditioning subsystem and synchronous acquisition subsystem. Wherein, the signalconditioning subsystem is defined as an RS232serial port device, which contains ananalog signal processing circuit, FPGA digital circuitry and mainly implements the analogsignal filtering, amplification, power measurements, as well as gain control. Thesynchronous acquisition subsystem structure is PXIe form, which contains PXIe IPCplatform, disk arrays, FPGA module and synchronize ADC module and mainlyimplements multi-channel signal synchronous acquisition, signal processing and datastreaming.This paper first introduces the basic knowledge of array signal synchronizationacquisition system, puts forward the design of the system and points out the key technical,then describes in detail the signal conditioning subsystem and synchronous acquisitionsubsystem’s Hardware components and Software implementation,, final describes brieflythe system test.
