Signal acquisition system is widely used in automation and control,aerospace,biomedical,geological exploration,marine development,natural disaster prediction and other fields.In order to adapt to changing exploration environment,this thesis studies an open multi-channel signal acquisition and transmission system based on the underwater acoustic signal acquisition.This system includes the characteristics of the optional transmission mode,synchronous acquisition,controllable gain and controllable passband bandwidth.The work of this thesis is discussed on the following aspects.1.Based on the requirements of underwater acoustic environment and system performance,the total system is designed from the viewpoint of scalability.FPGA is the core of control module of the signal acquisition system.Meanwhile,the parameters of signal conditioning circuit is adjustable and the transmission mode of the system is optional.2.The hardware circuit of the signal acquisition system consists of preamplifier circuits,bandpass filter circuits with adjustable bandwidth,gain controllable amplifier circuits,analog to digital conversion circuits,power supply circuits and FPGA peripheral configuration circuits.3.The FPGA control system mainly includes bandwidth control module,gain control module,ADC control module and data compression module.The hardware compression of the collected data is realized through improving the classic LZW lossless data compression algorithm,which can improve the storage and transmission efficiency of the system.4.According to the results of performance testing,indicators of this system satisfy the demand of the design.
