Network, high-speed, and distributed is the development trend of the new generation of test system. LXI bus is the product of this trend. The signal conditioning and data acquisition system is the key part of the automatic test system. However, it is still in blank stage of the related products using LXI bus. Therefore, research on the signal conditioning and data acquisition system using LXI bus has a high development prospect and application value.Based on a large number of papers and documents, the paper analyzes the characteristics and advantages of LXI bus, the framework and principle of the system, and determines the technical index of the system and the overall scheme of the Linux operating system using ARM microcontroller. Make full use of the rich software and hardware resources, the design of hardware and software is simple and quick.On the hardware design, the system adopts the method of modularization, which improves the reusability of the design. The hardware design has two parts, the function module and the LXI interface module. Through the detailed design, the related concepts and principles of hardware are described in detail, and the key technologies are analyzed and studied, and the hardware circuit design is simplified to meet the requirements of the design.On the software design, through the LXI specification in the relevant protocol analysis,combined with the Linux operating system, put forward specific solutions. The functions of LAN communication, Boa server, VXI-11 protocol, PTPd protocol, Web server, LAN discovery and IEEE 1588 precision clock synchronization protocol are realized.After the design, the accuracy of the system and the LXI bus related functions was tested and analyzed. The results show that the system functions and indicators meet the design requirements very well. Finally, this paper puts forward some idea to improve the system, for the existing shortcomings.
