With the development of manufacturing industry informatization, enterprisegradually realizes computer-aided drawing design, which produces a large number ofelectronic engineering drawings, and the technical data is very important formanufacturing enterprise. The traditional manual maintenance may cause some problems,such as data is difficult to find and easy to lost, inconsistent in update. The enterpriseneeds to use the advanced management tools to handle the huge data in a scientific way.Engineering change management is an important part of the product data management,and is an important business in the manufacturing enterprise activities, which involves thecooperation of purchasing department, production department, quality department andlaws department. The standardized engineering change management can ensure integrity,consistency and effectiveness of the product data.To realize the integrated management of the data, process, resource related to theproduct, this thesis combined with the specific workflow of automobile enterprise anddeveloped an enterprise information management system suitable for computer integratedmanufacturing environment, based on product data management. In this system documentinformation can be quickly and safely transferred between different departments, which isconducive to resolve the problem of product data exchange "islands of information",andachieve the standardization of work processes, improve the work efficiency.This thesis firstly introduced the domestic and international development of PDM,especially the engineering change management in it, and analyzed the purpose of thesystem according to the specific business needs of enterprise, then described the functionalrequirements of the system in the form of a flow chart and use case diagrams. Based onthe analysis, the hardware deployment structure, software architecture and databasestructure of the system has been designed. In accordance with the previous design, theJ2EE-based enterprise information management system is developed by using Struts2+ Spring+iBatis framework and the MVC pattern.The system has been successfully delivered and run stably in the enterprise, realizesthe workflow automation to a certain extent, which has a practical value.
