With the development of digital home and modern efficient office, promptingstrong demand for the use of simple and convenient office equipment, that alsopromote the development of wireless projection technology. Currently, though thepoint-to-point connection mode is mostly used in wireless projection, it is verycumbersome to switch the projection between multiple computers. Based on presentstage wireless projection technology, a multi-user wireless projection gateway withembedded platform is improved and developed in this paper. The gateway employsone-to-many connection mode and solves the problems of switching between multiplecomputers.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Analyze the functional requirements of the system, select a developmentboard based on OMAP3530processor and propose the overall and submoduledesigning schemes;(2) Set up hardware and software platforms of OMAP3530development boardaccording to the embedded development platform, then install and configure theDVSDK software package;(3) Realize the multi-user switching module, image decoding module and displaymodule based on system designing scheme, use the TCP and UDP protocols forcommunication and data transfer, employ JPEG decompression technologies andFramebuffer images display technology;(4) Transplant the program, complete implementation and testing of the wirelessprojection gateway.After testing, the multi-user wireless projection gateway can real-time displayconnected users, achieve fast switching between multiple users and play clear andsmooth projection screen.
