IP core reuse technology is applied more and more widely, IP verificationproblem has been paid more and more attention from the industry. The traditionalverification methods are not only time-consuming, but not sufficiently verified, lowcoverage rate function, it has been difficult to meet the need for verification of thecentury. Based on the verification platform for IP verification is a very effectivemethod, transplantating IP core to the verification platform to verify can carry outcollaborative verification between IP cores, monitor protocol specification, improvethe quality and efficiency of verification.The key of based on the verification platform for IP verification istransplantation instantiate of IP core and transplantation of reuse of verificationvector. Firstly, this thesis uses SoC verification platform based on Leon3mpprocessor to verify the IP core, developed the automatic instantiation scripts.According to the IP core instantiation features in the verification platform, usingPerl language to write control program, achieving IP core automatic instantiation inthe verification platform. A large number of the original need artificial instantiationof operation is reduced, the reliability of instantiation is improved, and the requiredtime of IP verification is saved. At the same time, implementing the reuse ofverification vector descripted by C, Verilog HDL and VHDL language, so the IPcore can verify reproduction in the verification platform. Furthermore, using BFMmodels and the Monitor models provided by VIP to quickly build verificationenvironment for the IP core. That makes the IP core, its verification vectors andverification environment highly matched, construction language unification, busmatching, transplantation instantiate of IP core and transplantation of reuse ofverification vector simple, monitoring report generation and verification process oflog files and the bus signals, easier positioning error location.
