Research On The Library Digital Resources Services Of Medical Colleges

With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, the development of theinformation technology and the popularization of network, and the development of digitalresources makes itself the mainstream of information resources. The key literatureconstruction turns to digital resources construction from printed resources construction.By its retrieval convenience and great information capacity, digital resources play anirreplaceable role in ensuring teaching and researching needs of universities. However, itis apparent that the price of digital resources is high, the mechanism of long-termpreservation is still not perfect, and the purchasing directly affects the efficiency of libraryfunds. Meanwhile, because of the different understanding of digital resources, users oftenfail in getting efficient information only by using search engines. As a result, reasonableconstruction and effective utilization of digital resources become a burning question inuniversity libraries, which has great practical significance.Through the investigation of the introduction of both domestic and foreign digitalresources, the analysis of the construction situation of medical digital resources, thequestionnaire to the teachers and students, the users’ needs for digital resources and thedemand of digital resources services are learned, finally the reasonable optimizationservices are summarized and analyzed to provide a reference for the library digitalresource service of Ningxia Medical University.
