With China’s smart grid construction in the12th Five-Year period in full swing,on the one hand to continue to meet our continued growth in demand for electricalenergy, on the other hand also need to continue to strengthen the level of intelligentmetering facilities in China. Raise the level of intelligent communication proposednew requirements, power line carrier communication rate of domestic traditionalcentralized meter reading system applications can not meet the intelligent servicesin the amount of information exchange, and high-speed narrowband power linecarrierthe development and application of technology, compared to provide newsolutions to the above problems.High-speed narrowband power line carrier technology based on narrowbandspectral range, combined with the current modem technology and informationcoding technology and network routing technology, a new generation of power linecarrier technology, as opposed to the traditional carrier technology, the technologyhas a high rate, securityand high robustness, and the application of smart gridconstruction.In this thesis, the main work is in the First expounded the current domestic andinternational power line carrier technology development status quo anddevelopment trends, promote narrow-band power line carrier power line channelenvironment characteristics and the development of related technology analysis, beable to understand the course of development of the technology. Furthermore,in-depth study of the international mainstream three high-speed narrow-band powerline carrier technology solutions and the contrast between them and contactanalyzes G3-PLC technical specifications, along with a brief description of thehigh-speed narrow-band power line carrier technology in the smart grid. Finally,G3-PLC based technology to develop a high-speed narrow-band power line carrierthe concentrator facilities and centralized meter reading system, the overallframework of the structure of the facility, from both hardware and software toachieve the concentrator. On the hardware side, given its various hardwarecomponents and the circuit schematic, and analyze the circuit selection theory andthe final engineering prototype product; software side, the main softwarearchitecture of the concentrator and the main function of the realization of software,highlights the to meet G3-PLC technology network routing process, the finalhardware and software testing of the concentrator products and complete the theconcentrator overall functionality and performance testing, and achieved good testresults.
