Research And Implementation Of Smart Home Simulation System Based On HLA

The smart home system is a new system, many companies and research institutions are focus on it. As a complex multi-node system, researching it needs a lot of time and cost, simulation technology can reduce research time and cost, so we need it. But smart home system has many nodes, and each node is very difference from others, it’s unrealistic to simulate the whole smart home system in a single computer, the establishment of a distributed simulation system is necessary. According to the characteristics of smart home system and the requires of HLA (High Lever Architecture), we convert all the nodes to federal members, then the simulation tasks are distributed to each network node, and the distributed simulation system was done.This paper discussed the development and application of smart home system, and then researched the theory and technology of it. Found out some of the problems of the existing smart home system. And discussed the development and application of distributed simulation system, and then researched the basic theory and technology of the HLA. It solves the interoperability and scalability issues of the distributed simulation system, and it also can guarantee a good time synchronization of the simulation node, so build a smart home simulation system based on it is feasible.This paper proposed a new smart home system with the learning ability. And according to requires of HLA and the method of object-oriented programming, designed the smart home federal structure. And also designed four federal members: smart home controller federate member; household appliance federate member; display federate member; learning algorithm federal member. All of this composed the smart home simulation system.At last, this paper implemented the simulation system with the help of CE-RTI (launched by the French Aerospace Lab ONERA). And used the simulation system checked the new smart home system with the learning ability. The results show that the simulation system is stable and reliable, and the smart home system can reach the design requirements.
