| This paper focuses on designing a kind of Smart Home System (SHS). This paper is composed of two parts. Firstly, the paper puts forward the solution of a SHS. Secondly, it makes a model experiment of the solution. The paper sums up the components of the SHS on basis of referring to many existed SHS. The paper also forwards what kinds of technologies should be used to realize the SHS. The model experiment proofs the feasibility of the solution. And most of the solution is realized.The paper puts forward that the SHS should be composed of four parts: communication outside, home gateway, home safety and electrical appliance control. The part of "communication outside" adopts the solution of GSM message and Internet. The part of "home gateway" adopts an ARM9 Development Board (the CPU chip of it is S3C2410 ). The part of "home safety" puts forward a feasible solution model. The part of "electrical appliance control" adopts different measures according to different electrical appliances. For example, for the electrical appliance with an Irda interface, the paper advises using Irda control. For the ordinary electrical appliance, it advises using a relay or a motor to control. For the information appliance, it can be connected to home gateway directly.The model experiment contains two parts: the software realization and the hardware realization. The hardware realization is composed of hardware choice, hardware connection and hardware test.The program is programmed in the Linux Operation System. It is downloaded to the ARM9 Develop Board after compiling. Finally, the message can be received in the PC, and it can control the relay through GPIO.For "home safety" and " Irda communication", the paper also make an deep study, it puts forward an feasible solution.The innovation point of the paper is that it doesn't use an GSM or GPRS module. It use an program to realize the function of GPRS instead. The result is reducing the cost and at the same time, it simplize the difficulty of development. |
