With the development of society, people have higher requirements on the home environment.The smart home system is based on residential platform, combine with computer technology,network communications technology, automatic control technology, sensor technology and otherhigh technology, providing people with a more comfortable, more convenient home environment.There are some problems in the smart home system, such like not uniform standards, high cost, notpopular and low product stability. So,how to study and design a reasonable overall solution willbenefit the society.The thesis designs a smart home system solution, based on the functional requirementsanalysis and remote network management features. Realize function of remote video monitoring,temperature and humidity monitoring,light control, and curtain control. The main research andinnovation are as follows:Firstly, design and implement a whole smart home system solution.The system consists of fourparts:remote PC management platform,home gateway,ZigBee wireless network at home,terminalsensor function modules.Build a home gateway development platform based on embeddedtechnology. Design three terminal node hardware:temperature and humidity monitoring,lightcontrol, and curtain control. Design software of remote video monitoring module and remoteinformation appliances control module.The video surveillance module workflow:image acquisition,image transmission, image display.There is two technology used:the V4L2and the TCP/IPprotocol-based socket technology.Remote information appliances control module consists ofZigBee node communications, serial communication between home gateway and coordinator,remote PC management platform.Secondly, the ZigBee protocol stack analysis and development. In this thesis there is a detailedanalysis of the event task processing mechanism of Z-Stack protocol stack,and a example toanalyze the function call process.Final application is designed.Lastly, human comfort of the smart home. Human comfort in the smart home research areas isstudied. Comfort evaluation system and control comfort based on fuzzy theory are proposed.Experiments prove that the smart home network system realized the expected functionalrequirements, and stable operation.The system has the characteristic of humanizationinterface,embedded standardization,wireless control,can satisfy the general family application requirements.
