This thesis,based on the system of news and propaganda strategy of the Axis which launched the Second World War,take Mussolini’s Italy,Nazi Germany,the Empire of Japan for example,to study the characteristics in the idea of propaganda,the press laws,the press system and the media environment under the reign of facist in this special historical period and special media environment.Thus coming to the horizontal comparison between the Axis in the similarities and differences among these four aspects.The similarities,which show that the axis all concerned about their endeavour on propaganda,published many press laws,monopolize the media in Gleichschaltung and let them met their doom.The differences show that Japanese ideas and strategy of propaganda are different from other axis countries,their propaganda,do not have a single supervisor to take charge in,or mainly directed by the government agency because their media are more subjective,enthusiastic,widely participated in war propaganda.Among the axis,Japan have most laws come into being during the wartime,thus have more temporality and randomness.Nazi’s Gleichschaltung of press was not as rude and straight as in Italy and Japan,It has more privately-owned media,which made their surveillance more deceptive.In order to deepen the understanding of Nazi,fascism and militarism propaganda strategy,thus raising the awareness of far-right ideas.
