With the rapid development of science and technology, auto-stereoscopic displayhas come into our life, the kinds of glasses-free3D display technology has beenincreasing with the products’ mature gradually. The glasses-free3D displaytechnology gets the market acceptance with its advantages as prominent3D effect, thehigher brightness among them.This paper based on the technology of glasses-free3D display, completed thelarge ultrahigh resolution of the glasses-free3D display system, through the design oflenticular lens, the data mapping for stereo image and the image processing algorithmfor4K×2K.First of all, this paper introduces research background, development and currentstatus at home and abroad related to auto-stereoscopic display, the work of this paperand organization structure. The second chapter describes the imaging theoryof Stereoscopic vision, the principles of liquid crystal display, then compares theadvantages and disadvantages of various3D display technologies. The third chapterand the fourth chapter are the key content of this paper, firstly introduces Glasses-free3D display technology of lenticular lens, includes the design of lenticular lens andsimulation validation, parameter design, parameter calculation and parametercalibration. The forth chapter introduces the design of large ultrahigh resolution of theglasses-free3D display system, includes the data mapping for stereo image, imageprocessing algorithm for4K×2K. Finally, this paper put forward a optimizationmethod of reducing crosstalk and increasing the visual angle of glasses-free3Ddisplay.The results of this paper has been successfully applied to the56-inchauto-stereoscopic display for exhibition and got high evaluation. Lay a foundation forlarger ultrahigh resolution of the glasses-free3D display system and has a good development prospects.
