In recent years, along with the advance of some security projects in our country, the security industry has gotten rapid development. As an important part of security industry, video surveillance system has gone deep into people’s life and work. As a result of development in internet, video encoding and embedded multimedia chip fields, network video surveillance system has entered high definition world.In this paper, we use ICETEK-DM365-KB-EZ development kits, CCD camera and various of connecting lines to compose the device of the network video surveillance system. After capturing the analog video data and encoding it into H.264in D1, we send it to the video server by various of network protocols. Finally, the client get the H.264data by the forwarding of server. The device access to network video surveillance system successfully.In aspect of video data access, in order to know how the video data flow in device, we read the datashects which are provided by TI and Realtime corporation, and study the function of each module in ICETEK-DM365-KB-EZ; Then read DMAI codes, and use some functions in DMAI to realize the capture and coding of video data; Lastly, design a scheme to packaging the H.264data according to RFC3984and send it by RTP.In aspect of communication signalling, according to the request of our system in communication function, we design some flow such as login of device, heart beat, video request, query of device information and so on. Then use PJSIP to realize the code writing of SIP, and design some XML message bodys for SIP.
