| Since its birth, the people’s livelihood news is a kind of news media which with a attitudeof regarding the people as foundation, and serving for them. And as the media with mostpublic characteristic, and the most acceptable for each social stratum, it provides a newplatform and perspective for the development of the people’s livelihood news. Although so far,the academic circles has not reach an agreement to the definition of the TV news of people’slivelihood, the scholars have given no doubt attitude to its impact and influence to the ChineseTV media and news market, even some scholars call it “the third revolution of Chinese TV”.At present our country is in the period of social transformation, economic, social and culturalfields are under the state of a violent change. It is the big background causes people’s allkinds of information present diversified characteristics. However undeveloped areas in Chinahave been in a special position of China’s developing wave. Because the economy isbackward, the gap between rich and poor is bigger, the social contractions of the undevelopedareas are more complicated；Undeveloped areas should ponder over how to entirely use themedia, the valuable resource when they face to all kinds of opportunities or challenges likethe country’s big development tide, social transformation, or the national supporting policies.In which, TV news of people’s livelihood is nearest to the common people. It is very worth tothink about what the function of TV news of people’s livelihood in undeveloped areas’development, how can we use it to supervise the public opinions, regulate socialcontradictions and create economic value. When the author internshiped in the comprehensivechannel of Ganzhou TV Station in Jiangxi province, I experienced the planning, interview,production process of the TV news of people’s livelihood “630Report”.
