Workflow is a information technology with developing rapidly, which can c ontribute to completing business processes automatically by interacting with appli cations and tools. Workflow has been taking an important role in IT field since it occurred. As we all know, workflow has been applied into business process m odeling, enterprise management and control, meanwhile, in some fields like e-gov ernment, e-commerce, finance, people use it to complete office-automation.However, most of workflow products are facing a problem that the executio n of workflow need to read configuration information and instance data from co nfiguration base and database. Even reading configuration can keep workflow eng ine getting the latest information, the frequency of configuration’s change is relat ively low and most of the runtime instance data only write once. In fact, it is a great waste of resources for workflow engine to read data and construct work-fl ow objects. To solve the problem mentioned above, cache is a feasible solution, which means reading valid data from cache improves efficiency by saving operat ion time.In this thesis, based on the theory and technology of dual drive workflow a nd some accomplishments of actual projects, a solution has been proposed that d istributed systems can add cache servers to handle data reading efficiency of wor k content-driven in the distribute environment. Further research has been taken o n the mechanism of based-on Push distributed inquiry. Finally, some key implem entations of work content-driven distributed cache system are introduced in depth.
