With the continuous development of the national economy, China need more and more coal mines. But when the coal mines continue to explore, the geological conditions will become more and more complex, give the coal mine safety to great threat. In recent years, the frequent occurrence of coal mine accidents, mainly influenced by the underground environment and terrain, often occur a gas explosion, fires and other major incidents, serious threat to the lives and safety of miners. Through years of efforts, the coal mine safety is getting better, but there are still many problems. Therefore, the coal mine rescue work is whether accurate or not in place, you need the support of underground personnel positioning system.In this paper, we study a personnel positioning method—radio frequency identification technology (RFID), it should include the base station and smart card of underground personnel position. Considering the complexity of the subsurface environment, the design of the system should meet the positioning requirements of the underground staff as well as workflow, the mine personnel positioning should have identification distance and mobile fast features, as well as tags should small enough, and convenient carry, but conventional identification technology does not have these features, and not to achieve the requirement of the coal mine safety management, so this paper must take the RFID technology apply to mine personnel positioning system.The paper first analyzes the development status at home and abroad, introduced the development process of RFID, and demonstrated the feasibility of RFID technology. In this system, base station is able to identify and locate mine personnel; query distribution of underground staff. Once happened an accident, to facilitate the rescue, and greatly improve the safety of coal mining enterprises.In this paper,MSP430as the master chip, and in the base station design, powerful MSP430F149as the master chip, and the less port, cheap price MSP430F2131as the master of the smart card chip. At the same time, the CC1100chip as RF part of the selection.This paper focuses on the analysis of the base station and smart card module, the base station master module, the specific design of RF transceiver modules, LED modules, and introduced RFID anti-collision theory and common anti-collision algorithm, at the same time, in order to locate underground staff, through to learn wireless sensor network, make the positioning capability of RFID for further improvements.Finally, I experiment in the laboratory, to debug the program, the RFID personnel positioning system applications in the real, not only to read the distance, and with anti-collision performance, suitable for being used to the bad environment of the coal mine.
