| In china,5big religions have got the legal seats, namely Buddhism,Taoism, Islamism, Catholicism and Christianity, which are preached also in Chinese rural areas and act as a big part of rural religion communication. By the means of questionnaire, ethnographic research and interview, taking Huangmei country in Hubei province as an example, this study intends to make sense of the elements of religion communication, the development and reasons of rural religion, from Communications perspectives. This study strives to find out scientific ways to lead rural religion communication and promote the construction of new socialist country. This paper falls in5parts.The first part is exordium, which introduces the researching background, the purpose, the significance of this study. It also presents the literature review of this academic field. The second part analyses on the status and effect of rural religion communication. On the one hand, it presents the number of5religion followers, distribution and the development; on the other hand, it analyses on the effects of rural religion communication on concept culture, interpersonal relationship, habits and social construction.The following part mainly discusses on the disseminator, the audience, the content, the channel and the carrier in rural religion communication. The disseminator is composed of person, group and organization; the content of rural religion communication is mainly focuses on moral cultivation, revivals and superstition; the audiences are religion followers; the carrier is mostly in printing, photos and videotapes. Beside, communication tactics are used in the rural religion communication, namely the emotional way and the localized content.The fourth part presents the reasons of diffusion of rural religion communication. The reasons falls in4aspects:social transition in rural areas, mental helplessness, the adaptation of religious culture and traditional culture and the chaos in the management of religious activities.The last part talks about how to lead the rural religion communication to meet the construction of socialist countryside. |
