J2EE-based Dongying Wins Big Supermarket Information Management System Design And Implementation

With the continuous development of society and the rapid upgrading of scientifictechnology, especially the development of microelectronics technology improves theperformance of a computer constantly, and this causes the price of computers fallsceaselessly, and this also accelerates the popularity of computers to a certain extent. Inthe current society, computer technology has been widely used in the various fields. Theinformation systems emerge on this basis in many supermarkets.This article first briefly introduces the background, meaning, status and purposeof Dongying Shengda supermarket management system and the main thinking. Then thearticle introduces some key technologies, development tools and developmentenvironments used in the system. The middle part makes the initial overall design,followed by detailed design of the system, related programming on the J2EE platform,the database design of the system and some important modules’ implementation. Finally,the article introduces the running results and system testing. The system includesinventory information management, procurement information management, systeminformation management, sales information management, and records informationmanagement capabilities. The system is based on software engineering. This systemused the Genuitec Corp’s MyEclipse as a development tool, the backstage databaseselects MySQL，the server software uses Tomcat. The system mainly used the J2EEplatform to develop. The system used the design of three layer architecture which isbased on MVC. At the end, it used Java language to implement on the J2EE platform.In this paper, for the shortcomings of the client-server based management system,we proposed design method based on J2EE model. We used visual modeling techniqueof UML software development process and RUP-based methods to do the research andanalysis. Ultimately through EJB technology, database technology and J2EEarchitecture, the system was developed. Supermarket management system is a keymember of the management information systems. In the supermarket management, itplays a decisive role in the daily work management. The use of supermarket system canmake the supermarkets more convenient in management of day-to-day business, materials management, purchase management, sales management, inventorymanagement, system management and other affairs. It also enhances the supermarket’sown innovation and competitiveness.
