Small Supermarket Design And Implementation Of Invoicing Management Information System

With the developing of economy and improving of resident’s live, the supermarketbecomes more and more popular in city and country. Some small supermarket hasgradually entered communities and villages. The development and popularization ofsmall supermarket brought supermarket more intense competition. The problem facedby many supermarket runners is how to make their own supermarket to maintain goodoperation, or even to win from numerous small supermarket opponentsInformation are most concerned by supermarket runners is: daily sales, daily grossincomes, the best and bad sell goods. At present, many small supermarkets are manuallycheck, summary the sales information. This means need lot of workforces and may beprone errors. In order to obtain this information, supermarkets have a managementinformation system of purchase, inventory and sales, in order to be able to accuratelyunderstand the information.There are many kinds of supermarket management software on the market forgeneral purpose and special user. General purpose supermarket management software isusually larger and less fitness, and be hard for small supermarket. In addition, specialsoftware is generally one or is the development of a supermarket, has very strongpertinence, unable to adapt to the needs of the general small supermarket. In view ofthis, we developed for small management system of urban and rural use supermarket.In order to find the needs of small supermarket runner, four typical smallsupermarket has selected to be targets for supermarket management system and thedesired function. Firstly, we conducted a needs analysis to determine the smallsupermarket management system’s main functions include product information,purchasing, sales, inventory, financial and statistical analysis and other functionalmodules, and each module needs to complete the function; system design using B/Sthree-tier structure, design into four packages and multiple sub-package, correspondingto the presentation layer, data access layer and business logic. The business logic levelinclude business logic control object and model objects. The package can be dividedinto sub-package when need. At last, the system was implemented with Javatechnology, and had tested to fit user needs. Software was developed with Java programming language to process and analysis,POS terminal software implements with VB, it provide simple and friendly interface,simple and practical function, suit the practical needs of small supermarket managers. Inorder to improve the generality and flexibility of software, we design a simple Java Webapplication framework, using this framework can effectively improve the adaptability ofsoftware.
