MIMO technology is a core technology of the new generation wirelesscommunication. It can use multiple antennas to increase the channel capacityexponentially and spectrum efficiency without expanding bandwidth. How to controlthe system fast and intellective, then achieve fast and accurate frequency is significant.This design is based on RF front-end of a wide frequency wireless transceiver, Thepurpose is to achieve efficient control of the entire system.The chip we selected is the TMS320DM6437of the TI corporation. The paper firstintroduces the background and development of the MIMO technology system, then tellsthe implementations of transceiver system; structure and features of DSP chip, andintroduces the boot sequence、 pin configuration on chip in detail. The control of thetransceiver first is the host transmitted the control instructions to DSP through the CPCIbus, once DSP receive instructions, refer to upperlayerprotocol, make the Controlcommand decoding, Finally, in accordance with the decoded instructions to Modify thedestination register on DDS or sent data stream to the microcontroller through UARTS。So that it can be perfectly Control the operation of the target board.In this design,DSP combined with the DDS and PLL,to achieve a direct digitalfrequency synthesis. Design the power supply module, clock module;(I2C, JTAG CPCI)interface circuit on Hardware. The main DSP work on Software is to control the localoscillator board,includes control the RF switch to accomplish gate control, control DDSand PLL enable, clock pin,control parameters to making it all work properly, modifythe frequency control word to get the point frequency output, modify DDS16-bitparallel data to get the hopping frequency output.DSP also coordination withmicrocontroller control the attenuator and phase shifter of transmitter board、high-frequency receiver board, low-frequency receiver board. through UARTS. Finallythe paper have a short introduction on the test environment, show the test results by thespectrum analyzer and oscilloscope.
