In this paper,based on the requirements of the synthetic aperture radar(HHR),the RF transceiver technology of broadband FM radio is studied.The second harmonic RF transceiver scheme is proposed,and the formula of frequency-modulated continuous wave second harmonic radar ranging is given.The main components such as sweep signal source,directional coupler,filter,power amplifier,mixer,frequency multiplier and low noise amplifier are designed and synthesized,and the front end of the transceiver is analyzed and demonstrated.The front end of the wideband FM harmonic radar receiver is simulated.In the design of the sweep signal source,the advantages and disadvantages of DDS + PLL mixing technique,DDS + PLL mixing technique,DDS + PLL mixing technique,DDS + PLL mixing technique,are analysed.DDS + PLL mixing technique are selected.This scheme can achieve low phase noise,excellent spurious suppression,and has the advantages of high resolution and fast frequency switching.Through the design of simulation,RF transceiver front-end to achieve the main technical indicators:the center frequency of transmitter is 900 MHz,FM bandwidth is 200 MHz,transmit power is greater than 30 dBm,The receiver has a center frequency of 1800 MHz,a receiving bandwidth of 400 MHz,an intermediate frequency bandwidth of 2k to 60 kHz,a noise figure of less than 4dB,a receiver gain of more than 50 dB,and a receiving sensitivity of-110 dBm to the engineering design.
