The logic analyzer is one of the important members in the field of test andmeasurement instruments. And the features such as multichannel data acquisitions,signal detection and analysis, and flexible trigger mode enable the logic analyzer to playan important role in the field of test and measurement instruments, especially in thedigital circuit test. Besides, the logic analyzer based on LXI bus is highly efficient in thenetwork transmission, low-cost and convenient, which provides solutions to set up thedistributed test system.The paper has analyzed the rules in the revision1.3of LXI Device Specification indetail, and study the structure and implementation techniques of the B/S mode softwarein depth. According to the requirements of the project and the summary of previousexperiments, it achieves the web access and control with a combination of HTML,Javascript and Silverlight technology. And the specific contents are as follows:(1) Design and Implementation of the Web access: using a combination of HTML andJavascript, it has designed welcome page, password-protected page, IEEE1588configuration page, LAN configuration page, the event log page and so on, which are inaccordance with the requirements in the LXI Device Specification. And it also worksout the network communication module base on the Silverlight socket technology,avoiding the secondary development of the Web server. In addition, the web accessallows the user to get the basic information of the instrument, network configurationand the instrument status.(2) Design and Implementation of the web control: based on the Silverlighttechnology, it has designed the program-controlled pages and the user control interfaceaccording to the functions and requirements. Especially, it has solved the problems inthe network data transmission, data processing, waveform and list show with themultithread technology.Besides, the web access makes the users can configure theinstrument flexibly and control data acquisition and display.(3) Design and Implementation of the Driver Interface Module: Because there is nodescription about the logic analyzer driver in the IVI specifications, its design refers to the structure of drivers of LXI instrument available in the market.On the basis of theoperation principle of the logic analyzer, it divides into several modules to accomplishthe interface functions and design the corresponding SCPI demands.The article focuses on the three aspects above. And the B/S mode software of theLXI logic analyzer has achieved the network access and program control. Besides, itcan finish data acquisition, waveform drawing and data lists filled. Finally, the articlelists the problems to be improved and offers some advice.
