With the meter to the computer, the rapid development of network andcommunication technology, military information construction has made considerableprogress. Force logistics management mentioned the combat effectiveness of greatsignificance, and now the army logistic management to a large extent rely on the car.How effective management forces the car is especially important. In response to these problems, in military vehicles management processes for thestudy, in-depth research on the basis of the research status of the domestic and foreignmilitary vehicles, designed and implemented a GIS-based vehicle management system. This project in order to achieve real-time vehicle monitoring and schedulingmanagement for the purpose of a detailed description of the system design andimplementation of the GIS management system. The GIS vehicle monitoring andmanagement system mainly consists of two parts of the vehicle terminal and monitoringcenter, the integration of GIS global positioning technology, wireless communicationtechnology and GZS (Geographic Information System) three key technologies. Thesystem is designed and developed using Java technology, as well as the powerful Oracledatabase, GIS implementation monitoring center and car terminal bi-directional datatransmission, vehicle monitoring, scheduling management, track playback and alarmmanagement functions. The main work of the project, this thesis is divided into threemodules: the first, in conjunction with their actual situation, in the general framework ofthe development of the system is determined on the basis of reading literature. Selectedas the main platform using J2EE database is Oracle, the basic framework for the B/Smode, embedded GIS technology and license plate recognition technology; detailedneeds analysis and detailed design of the entire system. The general process for themilitary vehicle management, integrated information management, object management, task management carried out a detailed argument; Third, the detailed design stage, thedesign of the main module of the system, the security module and database module, andto the processes and database entity-relationship model. Finally, a function in line with expectations GIS vehicle management system, andthe system in terms of security and functionality testing and analysis.
