Therefore, editing a complete vehicle managementsystem should be needed for matching the requirement of SCAT development. It analyses customers’ demands to SCATvehicle management system, and clarely states the fuctions, qulification and interfacewhich need be developed. It also raises the general design instruction of the system,further more, completes the design and development of the system.SCAT vehicle management system mainly focuses on daily management of schoolvehicles. It provides the service on scheduling vehicles for every department, archivesadministration, operation management. Since the weaknesses of SCAT traditionalvehicle management system, it adobts web site to design and ASP design technology todevelop this system. This system exploites the tool of Visual Studio.net2005and thebackground data base of SQL Server2005, accomplishes the analyses of thesystem(feasibility analysis, data flow analysis,dispose description, atc.), system design（function design and data base design）, system implementation, and so on. It realizesthe functions of management to drivers, scheduling for the departments, archivesadministration and vehicle motion or business management. SCAT vehicle managementsystem utilizes software engineering idea and design concept, software structure-lifecycle on main part, prototyping methoed and object-oriented system developingapproaches. Through the uses of vehicle management system, it could make up the lackand weaknesses on the management of school vehicles. It also supplies enough stronglogistic gurantee for the continued development of colleges.
