Design And Implementation Of The Management Information System Of Small And Medium-sized Logistics Enterprises Vehicle

Today, the computer as the broadest used modernized tools has already gone deep into many fields, and has become an important part of the society. Under such background, the way of the modern vehicle management has significantly changed. These changes are show in the platform of working, managing and serving. The vehicle management is no more using tradition manual operation and manpower, but applying computer management in all area.The cargo vehicle information management system plays a significant role in promoting the efficiency of vehicle management and reinforcing the management of vehicles. The system has realized some principle functions, including the management and maintenance of drivers information, the management and maintenance of vehicles information, the input and browse of cargo orders, the management of cargo deliveries and operations, the management and maintenance of vehicles repair and accidents as well as the statistics of sales. The system has been developed on the basis of Delphi and Microsoft SQL server 2005 database.Taking the actual conditions into account, this thesis presents an analysis on the problems in the existing management and expound on the significance of this research and the research conditions at home and abroad. Subsequently, it discusses about the prospects and crucial technology to develop this system, its structure, design model and application, as well as the tests and analysis on it, based on the concepts and structure of developing management information system and the basic theories and methods for system development.
