Hemiplegia caused by cerebrovascular disease increase the burden of society andseriously affect the life quality of patients, The recovery of the ability of the hemiplegic upperlimb movement is an important theme in the field of medical rehabilitation. Virtual Reality(VR) technology to the field of hemiplegia rehabilitation medicine has become one of themost popular topics at home and abroad. Using VR technology interactive, good technicalcharacteristics of the sense of immersion and in the study of man-machine interface fullyconsider the incentives of the patient’s sense of initiative, which will attract patients activelyengaged in the rehabilitation training.In this paper, based on theory of rehabilitation medicine, been using virtual realitytechnology in the medical field, aim at upper limb dysfunction patients, have build a virtualsupermarket upper limbs rehabilitation training system, realized the combination of hand andarm movement training with cognitive ability training for patients, let patients haveimmersive feelings during rehabilitation training, greatly promoted the restore of limbfunction. Between the use of medicine and engineering resources complementary, promoterehabilitation exercise training technology, at the same time promote the cross development ofvarious disciplines and improve the social rehabilitation career. The main content and resultsof this thesis are as follows:(1)Build the framework of virtual upper limbs rehabilitation training system and in-depthanalysis of its structure system, the framework mainly includes virtual modeling, dataacquisition, and human-computer interface research and rehabilitation efficacy evaluation.(2) Constructed and optimized the virtual supermarket scene model and virtual handmodel by3dsmax software, improved the running speed of the system.(3) Have developed glove-node and tracker-node in EON which are respectively used toget data from data glove and position tracker,and achieved the data glove,position trackerand software system integration.(4) Studied the collision detection technology when virtual hand grasping virtual goods, then the rule for grasping is proposed and realized the virtual hand scraping effect.(5) How to stimulate patients’ active consciousness have been fully considered in thestudy of man-machine interface, visual feedback and auditory feedback are provided topatients in the process of training so as to make the organic integration of sports training withpsychological treatment. Therapist can set suitable training mission according to the actualsituation of patients.(6) The questionnaire and clinical experiment have been conducted about upper limbsrehabilitation training on the virtual supermarket system, the results show that the systemimproved the recovery of hemiplegic upper extremity movement function in patients withcerebral apoplexy.
