In recent years, audio power amplifier industry develops rapidly and domesticproduction technology improves quickly. With the development of digital audiotechnology and the demand for Hi-Fi stereo digital audio power amplifier, thedevelopment and design of digital power amplifier have become more and moreimportant.The control algorithm of the digital high-power amplifier system is designed basedon Pulse Step Modulation in the dissertation.In the first, the control scheme for the digital high-power amplifier isanalyzed.Pulse Step Modulation (PSM) is applied to increase the frequency ofswitching tube, improve the output waveforms, and increase the output frequency.In the second, the topology extensions based on PSM technique is researched. Thecontrol algorithm and hardware system are designed for audio sampling, amplifying anddetecting. The control algorithm of the digital power amplifier system based onADSP-21489is studied in this dissertation.Finally, a1.5KW,2KHz prototype is designed with the interleave topology ofmultilevel inverter in the dissertation. The experimental results show the availability ofthe digital power amplifier based on PSM technique.
