With the rapid development of wireless communication technologies and mobile Internet technology, the relationship between people’s daily life and intelligent terminal become increasingly close. The mode of combination between intelligent terminal and back-end service is accelerating the integration of a variety of industries, and leading the developing direction of mobile operating system. Especially Android OS has occupied a absolute share in the market of intelligent terminal by its user-friendly UI, open-source and encapsulation.Currently, during the process of treatment service in a number of medical institutions, the business procedure runs manually and inefficiently, especially at the peak time, the patients’ registering, consulting and charging could easily cause problems like disorder and chaos. So it’s positive to bring in a medical service mode based on Android terminal to improve work efficiency and treatment environment. Few research works have been done on this subject, therefore this implementation have a certain practical significance.A medical service system based on Android platform is specifically researched and designed in this paper. Firstly background and significance of the subject is introduced in detail, moreover Android OS architecture, basic components and system porting method have been mainly summarized; secondly according the system planning, the "Android+Web server+MySQL" three-tier C/S structure and sub-module’s scheme are designed successively, meanwhile detailed development of the client is made by fully analyzing the functional requirements, HttpClient is used for communication; thirdly the configuration of Tomcat and MySQL is implemented and the research especially on connecting pool and data model design has been made; finally the client is accomplished testing on Android virtual device by connecting with the server, then the deficiencies of the system is proposed by analyzing the result. The testing result shows that transmission between client and server work properly, also basic functions of the client are realized correctly. The implementation of medical service project based on Android terminal satisfies the users’demands initially in this field.
