The Study On The Journalistic Thoughts Of Zhang Taiyan

Zhang Taiyan,the great sinology master in China’s modern history,also a famoussocial activist,publishing activist, political commentator.Through the study of chineseand western cultures,he not only put forward distinctive news philosophy,built atheoretical system which is comprehensive and strict,but also examined it via hislifelong practice.This article arranged Zhang Taiyan’s39-year-old publishing experience,took hispublishing activities as foundation, regard his major works as object, explored the keyto formation of news philosophy by combining theory with history and using manyresearch methods. Furthermore,this article tried to evaluate his news philosophywhich can locate it comprehensively,objectively and fairly.This paper is divided into four main parts. The first part: in search of ZhangTaiyan’ s jouenalistic thoughts history. From the complex life experience, rooted inthe era environment, based on the abundant news practice three aspects to carry on thequest, the experience of life and news practice according to time cues were verticaldecomposition. The second part: detailed ground discussed Zhang Taiyan’ sjouenalistic thoughts main content. He believes that the newspaper has multiple socialfunctions: the dissemination of knowledge, guiding the public opinion, conductpropaganda, service and political.
