Research On The Mechanisms Of Government Information Re-use Within The Public Library

There are more security and development on government information publicationafter the publishing of <government information publication of the People’s Republic ofChina>. The status of public libraries in government information resource public work hasalso been affirmed; the work of re-use of government information resources also sadlyarisen. The public services of the publication of the government information in manypublic libraries in our country have been more mature, but they ignored the re-use work ofgovernment information resources after the publication of the government information.There are still many problems in the actual work of the re-use of government information.Especially in the situation what the mechanism of the re-use of the governmentinformation resource has not been established, the re-use of the government informationresource are suffering from many of the restrictions, some even may impact the effectingof the public libraries in the mechanism of the re-use of the government informationresource.The paper is divided into five parts; the first part introduces the background of thispaper and the main meaning; and then combined with the related theory of the governmentinformation resources re-use, elaborated the discussing of the academia aiming at theconcept of the reuse of the government information at present, the author proposed to theview of the concept of the re-use of the government information, analysis the presentsituation of the reuse of the government information from the theory, elaborated thecharacters and the experiences of the re-use of the government information resources andthe problems in the present work of the re-use of the government information resources inour country. Chapter3is the presentation of theoretical foundation and practical basis ofgovernment information resource re-use within the public library. Investigate and analyzethe current situation of public library’ government information resource re-use. And thenconcludes the characters and problems of Chinese public library government informationresource re-use. In the main part of this paper, the author assumes the mechanism ofgovernment information resource re-use within public library’s participation; themechanism includes the transfer and demand of government information, the governmentinformation re-use, the government information resource re-use service, the law security of government information resource re-use. The government information resource is derivedfrom the transfer and demand. The government information resource re-use within thepublic library provide re-use service to the clients. At last, the law security is needed tothe government information resource re-use within the public library.
