Research And Implementation Of Virtual Lab Based On Virtual Reality Technique

This paper introduces the pivotal technology of the establishment of net virtual lab applying virtual reality technology, and expatiates on the significance of virtual lab research, then explains the process of virtual lab establishment with a sample of process control net virtual lab that can be visited through the Internet. It provides the detail of the modeling and interactive control of the sample.Net virtual lab is a system that can create a visual three-dimensional environment on the Web, the experimenter can observe the experiment process through the browser, and manipulate and control the virtual experiment through clicking and pulling operating of the mouse. Students can observe various kinds of influence arose by adjusting the parameters through the virtual lab introduced in this paper, this made it convenience to observe various control effects and grasp the principle of controlling easily, even more, this can enhance the interest and increase the efficiency of study. The development of this system can offer technical support for user visiting the remote virtual lab. In the system, experiment course, method and experimental result can be shown to remote users rapidly and directly through computer network.First, this paper introduces and analyses the current situation and development trend of virtual lab, then give the details of modeling and systemic interactive control of virtual lab. In the three-dimensional modeling technology part, it introduces the vision modeling technology, including Geometric Modeling, Kinematic Modeling, Physical Modeling, Object Behavior Modeling and Model Segmentation and providing the method to import an outer three-dimensional model. In the virtual lab control system, human-computer interaction, virtual entity manipulated technology and implementateion of process control virtual lab are discussed detailed. At the end part of the paper, several key technology are discussed: introducing latent to disappear technology in scene optimized, texture mapping technology, and LOD technology, introducing surround box level and distance tracking method in collision detection, and the system and data's safe tactics.
