The Analysis On The Impact Of FDI On The Export Structure Of China’s Electronic Information Industry

Since the reform and opening up in1978, the FDI has flowed into China largely. Based on the low-cost and abundant labor resources, the advantages of investment preferential policies, China has now become one of the world’s most popular host country. while the electronic information industry attracts the most foreign investment. China’s electronic information industry has made remarkable achievements in China’s reform and opening up30years time. China’s electronic information industry is one of the pillar industries in China, and has became China’s leading industry of the exports trade, with a strong leading role of China’s economic development and foreign trade export. Because the input of foreign direct investment has played a very important role, China’s electronic information industry has made such a success. Foreign-funded enterprises have become an important force in promoting the development of China’s information industry. China’s exports of electronic information also made greater achievements in its exports. According to the customs statistics, foreign-funded enterprises occupies a dominant position in the overall exports, with the exports of＄543billion, the proportion of up to78%, to become the dominant force in the export of China’s electronic information industry.I collect and sort out a lot of theoretical and empirical research at home and abroad on the relations of foreign direct investment and international trade, and collect large amount of data of the foreign investment in China and export. I use a lot of Charts to make analysis, and make a systematic study of the utilization of foreign investment and export of China’s electronic information industry, and analyze the mechanism of FDI in China’s electronic information industry from different angles.Through the study, I find that the large influx of FDI in China’s electronic information industry has played a significant role in promoting the export scale of China’s electronic information industry. China’s electronic information products export structure has also been optimized and upgraded, but there are many drawbacks and disadvantages. According to these drawbacks and disadvantages, I propose some recommendations about taking advantage of FDI in China’s electronic information industry, improving the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and improving the competitiveness of the export.
