Study Of Intelligent Electrical Actuator Based On PROFIBUS

Fieldbus control system is developed to apply intelligent instrument. Fieldbus technology can improve the structure of control system and its generality. In numerous fieldbus standards, PROFIBUS stands out and becomes a leader in the international market because of its open flexibility agreement, high transmission rate, hard real time and many other aspects of good performance. In order to make the traditional electric actuator get the ability to connect to PROFIBUS networks, this paper designed and developed an intelligent electric actuator based on PROFIBUS. This actuator can communicate with other field devices via the PROFIBUS network. It not only has the "limbs" traditional features, but also has some function of "brain" features. It could make decision independently, at the same time it can form a communication network with other field devices through the PROFIBUS-DP communication module.Main content of this paper is composed of the following sections:1. Searched and read the relevant literature both at home and abroad, analyzed research status and development trend of electric actuators in domestic and foreign, analyzing the present situation of the fieldbus, proposed the research of Intelligent Electrical Actuator Based on PROFIBUS, analyzed the feasibility;2. Learned the PROFIBUS protocol specification in detail, mainly study the PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol specification, designed and developed a PROFIBUS-DP intelligent slave station communication module, verified the availability by experiments;3. Developed a type of intelligent electric actuators based on PROFIBUS, including a perfect self-protection system, PROFIBUS bus communication function and so on.
