In the situation of CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company gradually expanding its overseas market, interpretation software imported with the logging tools couldn’t meet the requirement in number. Besides, it makes the interpretation more inconvenient that the confidential interpretation methods and the software regular update. Therefore, Greatwall Drilling Company developed the GeoMatrix platform to meet the overseas market requirement and break through related technical blockade of foreign company.After studying the interpretation methods of output profile logging, including three flowmeter tools such as turbine flowmeter, tracer flowmeter and basket flowmeter, designed a set of continuous production profile interpretation system (CPP) and point measure production profile interpretation system (PMPP).CPP contains the methods of turbine flowmeter and tracer flowmeter, and PMPP is mainly for basket flowmeter. CPP and PMPP were attached to the GeoMatrix platform which was developed by CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company in C#language. This paper focuses on the following aspects:Firstly, the interpretation method study of continuous measure output profile. It mainly consists of PVT parameters calculation, apparent velocity calculation, some key parameters calculation and interpretation module. After the collation and analysis of the current PVT calculation formulas at home and abroad, found a set of formulas for oil, gas and water, to a large extent reducing the calculation error. This paper adopted turbine flowmeter and tracer flowmeter to calculate the apparent velocity. The design of the former contained the mixed intersection and each intersection of up passes and down passes by the principle of least square method, and the latter used the conventional static and tracking measure methods to calculate the apparent velocity, satisfying the single-detector and double-detector tools. There were three methods to calculate the holdup, such as density method, CPS method and downhole environment correction method. It was one method to calculate velocity profile correction factor that conventional Halliburton chart consisting of3in and5in casing internal diameter charts, the other method was the widely used Reynolds number and velocity profile correction factor chart. The paper put forward to the following four interpretation modules:slip module, drift module, even module and downhole environment correction module. Slip module was usually used. If a well has accurate production flow rate record under surface condition, downhole environment correction module is the best choose. Secondly, the interpretation method study of point measure output profile. It was mainly for the logging tools of AHF95,AHF96and AHF100from Hangzhou715institute. The data record mode and interpretation method of point measure are very different from that of continuous measure. The values of point measure curves change with time, which need to be converted to the values changing with depth. Besides, the interpretation of point measure mainly takes advantage of the flowrate chart and the water-cut chart which correspond with the above three tools and adopts the idea of iterative interpolation. On the base of the analysis and study of the point data loading, the data binding, the curve reading and the use of the interpretation chart, designed and developed the PMPP system.Thirdly, the installation of interpretation system. CPP and PMPP were attached to the GeoMatrix platform which was developed by CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company in C#language. They have the friendly interactive interface, the easy interpretation process and the reasonable processing results.On the basic of the study in this paper, Greatwall Drilling Company could use its GeoMatrix platform(CPP and PMPP systems)to process the single-phase, two-phase output well and injection well in the overseas oilfield. It plays a great role in breaking the foreign software monopoly in the Chinese market.
