Along with the rapid development of our country automobile industry,large and medium-sized van increased rapidly in quantity.Motor vehicle safety technical inspection in the protection of the safe operation of the vehicle played an important role in people's life and property security,so as to prevent and reduce road traffic accidents.Among them,the measurement of the outer dimensions of road vehicles does not have a real-time high-precision automatic measurement solution,it is of great application value and economic benefit to study the measurement of the outer dimensions of road vehicles.In this paper,a vehicle external profile measurement method based on RGBD camera image processing is studied,and the accurate measurement of vehicle external profile is achieved through image processing technology.Using installed in vehicles on both sides of the testing area of the two fixed RGBD camera,through the three-dimensional space coordinate system calibration,will be on both sides of the RGBD camera collection point cloud to merge,through image matching technology based on three-dimensional inverse projective planes,joining together to become a target vehicle accurately complete vehicle outer contour model,finally statistics out of the vehicle profile size information.It is the focus and difficulty of this paper that the plane fitting based on three dimensional space and the matching part of gray degree matching based on inverse projection detection.The research contents of this paper mainly include:RGBD camera calibration,the method that can effectively and accurately calibrate the world coordinate system and double camera fusion is studied,then the internal reference of color camera and depth camera is obtained by using the least squares fitting.Based on image segmentation and 3D point cloud plane fitting method,the accuracy and reliability of plane fitting are verified by comparison experiment and practical application.The image matching method based on 3D image is studied,and the accuracy of image matching is improved effectively.In the end,the complete automatic process design of the accurate measurement of the vehicle is completed,and the validity of the method is verified by a large number of experiments.
