Since the1990s, tourism in our country developed rapidly. At present, our country is transferring from a large country to a power country in tourism. In this process, the development of tourism is also driving the development of travelling programs. Lots of travelling programs appeared on the TV screen rapidly, and the program form is varied, with news, interviews, entertainment, feature films, and so on. These programs has played a positive role in television’s development, and also has a great contribution on the travel industry. Tourism industry is highly dependent on information, especially need to deliver travel information through mass media, in this process, TV is undoubtedly the best carrier. In modern society, people’s tourism consumption idea has had a large change and their demand for travelling programs also presents diversity. As a result, the traditional form of travelling programs are too single to meet the requirements of the modern audience. In this context, in recent years, the influence of travelling programs is significantly lower, audience’s satisfaction and loyalty to travelling programs are also less than other types of programs in the program market. So, under the new tourism market and the media environment, how to make travelling programs have a sustainable development, how to combine TV and tourism and achieve a win-win situation, these are the research purpose of this paper.
