The livelihood of the people news, is a reflection of the life situation of the people,pay close attention to people’s livelihood, concerned about the public life of the news,from the broad sense belongs to social news. It reveals the social background andnational policy influence on people’s life, and closely related to people’s lives, can say,in today’s mass communication model of a new type of changes, it is most consistentwith the audience. However, with the development of journalism for people’s livelihood,for example, the livelihood of the people news topics, too vulgar, exaggerated claims toplease the audience, regardless of in relation to the social beneficial to the people’slivelihood and social development of the major issues. This article from abovebackground, researching city television livelihood of the people news brand column ofsustainable development.First of all, this paper expounds the television news of people s livelihood and theconcept, characteristics and development of domestic television news of people’slivelihood.
