Campus Network Security Management System In Grid Environment

The wide spread and fast development of internet technology effect our politics,economics, science and technology, and culture. As a new kind of resource, Internetpenetrates every field of our society and changes our production and our living everyhour and moment. Our government insists its own strategy of developing the countrythrough science and education. With the informationconstruction of education, nearlyall of the universities have constructed their own campus networks. Campus network isa barometer of modernization and informationization of education. And at the sametime, it essentially guarantees the application of the teachers’ teaching, research andmanagement, so as the students’ various usage.Information silos are the most important problems in campus network. Lettingmuch information resource lying idle accounts for the exiting of information silos.Gridcan relieve the problem through unifying all the unused resources and linking the Webservers as a whole. Grid can realize resource sharing eventually. But in Gridenvironment, the network structure becomes more complicated because the campusnetwork size is expanded and the user is increased. So, all kinds of security problemscomes out, it also make campus network security management face crisis more andmore seriously.In order to resolve the problem of campus network security in Grid environment,the author designs a management system in this paper. It is especially pointed at highervocational colleges’ campus network environments. The system includes five moduleswhich are user authentication, security event collection, data backup, outer landing,regular inspection. Based on B/S architecture, it uses ASP.NET development platform,C#programming language and ADO.NET as data base to design the system. All thedata transmission under.NET platform use XML structure. The campus networksecurity management system uses SQL Server2005as its backstage database.Based the design on the real problem that the Sichuan College of ArchitecturalTechnology campus network has had encountered, this paper first carried on feasibilityanalysis and requirement analysis. The next step is putting forward the overall architecture and then designing a detailed programme which including each modules’design details, flow chart, core code,system operation interface and testresult,etc.Finally, it points out the key point and difficult point of the design, theknowledge and technically problems encountered and the necessary improvement in thefuture.
