With the combined developments in electronic information and modern educational techniques, the campus network has not only taken up an important role in the functions of academics, teaching, school management and services, but it has also provided the fundamental platform to raise the overall standards in teaching, management and research within the higher education systems.As we all known , it is important for universities to build a Campus Network. Based on the Network ,the teaching and scientific researching level of the university can be improved greatly ,the academic interchanging with researching institutes and other universities including the foreign ones ,can be enhanced strongly ,and the connection to the world can also be tightened firmly.The completion of this electronic information network will greatly contribute to the communicational flow of knowledge and exchange of information amongst the teachers and students of higher educational institutions throughout the country with those around the world, thus pushing the higher education system towards modernization and up to new level of high quality in its developments.This thesis, based on the principles of electronic networking and the technology of network plan, will attempt a superficial analysis and technical inspections on the project of campus network construction in the Liao-Ning tax college .An overall layout and design of the campus network is proposed, with addition to detailed analysis of the key technologies involved the framework of the network and the development of its application software. Based on these, the proposal of a practical application and construction plan is conceived, with the objective of producing a technologically advanced campus network that is safe, practical and reliable.Through proof, test and operation, it indicates that this scheme has reached the anticipated target basically.
