Nowadays, the whole society has entered Information Age. Great change has takenplace in all areas because of the information technology revolution. Internet hasdeveloped at a surprising speed and has changed people’s life style and productionmode by means of rapid information transport methods. Traditional logisticsmanagement methods have been unable to adapt to the need of information acquisition, classification and transmission. Logistics enterprise can’t take invincible position indrastic competition until they heel tight the step in ages and improve quality of services. To improve working efficiency and competitiveness of logistics enterprise, an automaticlogistics goods distribution system in high quality has been an urgent request in to makelogistics data deliver fast.In our system, MyEclipse6.5and Tomcat6.0.18is made as the tool for systemdevelopment, and MySQL5.0is taken as the backstage database. We also introducethree-layer design pattern of Java, JSP, JavaBean as the core and Struts2as systemframework to implement the system. The system has the following advantages: First, information can flow easily and rapidly to ensure the logistics services punctual andeffective. Second, information can be stored and used easily which can reduce the wasteof human effectively. Third, this system can also have the function of the portal website, which make users understand the culture of the company, the service concept and thenotices of important activities. Moreover, it is easy for users to operate andcomprehend. In this dissertation, some survey, research, design and implementation have beenmade at the logistics goods distribution system. The primary contributions of thedissertation are summarized as follows. First, the research background and thesignificance are analyzed. The development at home and abroad is also summarized. We also discuss the problems and shortness of present techniques and principles of thesystem design and technical requirements. Second, some related knowledge areintroduced briefly including database principles, the SQL languages, the concept ofSoftware Engineering, the system development process and design principles. Third, the design of logistics goods distribution system is finished, including feasibility analysis, requirement analysis, general design, detailed design and system implementation.Fourth, the testing program has been worked out to evaluate the performance of thesystem. The testing results demonstrate that the system can satisfy the needs of users. Itcan operate normally and the interfaces of the different modules can jump successfully. Results show its effectiveness. The testing results demonstrate that the system can satisfy the needs of users.
