Third-party Logistics Management Information System Design And Research

With the development of economic globalization, Chinese economy has been developing rapidly. After China took part in the WTO, domestic enterprises ushered in an unprecedented, increasingly fierce market competition. Because of this, many manufacturing enterprises give the business to third party logistics companies to improve their focus on core business. So Logistics as "the third profit source" has been attached great importance to the industry at home and abroad. Some of the larger conglomerates , commercial enterprises establish their distribution centers. A considerable part of the transport, storage of large enterprises has begun to transition towards the direction of third-party logistics. The rapid rise of third-party logistics in the country and gradually become a new economic growth point. However, one fact that can not be ignored is that, logistics industry in China started lately, low starting point, outdated facilities and backward management, enterprise competitiveness in the market remained relatively weak. In this thesis, according to the existing problems, using the existing domestic and foreign advanced third-party logistics and distribution management system for the theoretical basis and combined with my years of experience, I research and develop Web applications based on third-party logistics management information system.Through the advanced logistics management information system, combined with my years in the logistics and distribution management, practical work experience, taking into account the needs of future business variables. In this thesis, using the ASP.NET development model, B/S three-tier architecture, SQL Server as the backend database, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Development and implementation of the code compiler, I develop this information management platform. This system includes procurement management subsystem total , inventory control and management subsystem, transport and distribution subsystems. So the system is a prominent platform, it can be applied to a wide range of logistics areas. By using this system, logistics and distribution management, logistics and distribution management can make practical, traceability, intuitive greatly enhanced, Precise, reliable, economical, fast, etc., to a large extent reduce operating costs and enhance their market competitiveness.The system uses the ASP.NET technology makes the system scalable, reusable high-and so on. Third-party logistics management information system subsystems have been achieved. The system test shows that the design of this B/S system architecture is stable; it can meet most of the logistics companies.
